We try to keep our game rules simple and  easy to understand.  Like most online games 99% of our rules only affect 1% of the players who go out of their way or refuse to follow them. Deadwars Game staff are not your babysitters.  Staff want to have a good time playing Deadwars too.  Players who require maintenance because they try to bend teh rules will not be allowed to play.

We have several different levels of  punishments that can be handed out depending on severity which is based on the staff members discretion.

• 1) Forum, chat and mail bans: Specific bans for any duration.
• 2) Jail: Placed in jail. You can login to your account but have no actions besides chat, mail, forums (unless these are banned).
• 3) Morgue: Full ban.  No set duration.  Most times this is a permanent ban with the possibility of being allowed to play again.
• 4) Server: Full server ban.  Cannot access the site in anyway.

Rules for everyone

1)  Use common sense.  This is our primary rule.  If we do not have a specific rule about something but you would expect it to be against our rules then don’t do it. We try to keep our rules as broad as possible to make game play easy and fun.  Do not think that because a rule is not exactly written word for word here  here that it is legal to get away with it. If something seems like it might break a rule then it most likely does.

2)  Players do not have the right to play Deadwars, you have the choice and you are allowed to play.  We want everyone to join our game and community and have a great time but players who make demands or try to ruin the game for others are not be welcome.

3) Profanity is allowed and welcomed.  Racist, homophobic and hate speech _ANYTHING_ is not allowed.  This includes images, profiles, links, text or ANYTHING.  ANYTHING that staff feels falls into any of these categories have the option of jailing the player with the possibility of a ban.

4) Muti accounts are not allowed.  At all.   Ever.  Never create more than 1 account.  Players with more then one account will have accounts sent to the morgue starting with the high level character and going down from there.

5)  Players who share an IP with another player (room mates, boyfriends/girlfiends, etc.) must contact staff members and report the userid and IP’s that are used.  These players are NOT allowed to “touch” in anyway what so ever.  This means no transfers, no attacking each other, can not be in the same faction or have any type of interaction in anyway including any type of communication.

6) Anything dealing with paypal, donator packs or payments in any way that involve anything negative (exploits, refunds, stolen credit cards, etc.) will get you a perm ban.

7)  Players are not allowed to do any of the following.  Punishments range from minor to major punishments.

• Continuous spamming in mails, forums, chat profiles, or anywhere.  If you spam someplace it is against the fules.
• Harassment of other players.  Grow the fuck up.  If a player complains and you are warned that warning will be followed by a punishment.
• Abusing bugs, SQL injections, hacking or any type of exploits.  Using an exploit and not reporting it will get you banned.

8)  Have fun! You don’t have to break our few rules to have fun.  Most players will not have an issue with these rules, but the 1% that will be problematic better expect to deal with punishments if you cannot obey them.
